How cancellation, refunds, trial behavior, plan changes, and payment updates work. No legal jargon, just plain answers.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

Go to Account > Manage Subscription.
This opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel your subscription.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then.
Your projects and scan history are preserved, but paid features (AI fix procedures, PDF exports, full category access) are locked when your plan reverts to Free Preview.

Refund Policy

No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
In limited circumstances, we may issue refunds at our sole discretion.
To request a refund, email support@ledgerclean.com within 14 days of the charge.
If you're unsure about committing, remember the 14-day free trial requires no credit card. You can try everything before you pay.

What Happens When Your Trial Ends

If you add a payment method during your trial, billing starts automatically when the trial ends.
If you don't add a payment method, your account drops to the Free Preview plan.
Your projects and scan history are preserved either way.
On Free Preview, you can still view past results but cannot run new scans beyond Free limits (1 project, 2 categories, no AI features).

How to Switch Plans

Go to Account > Manage Subscription to switch between plans.
Plan changes take effect immediately.
If you're upgrading, you're charged the prorated difference.
If you're downgrading, the change applies at your next billing date.

How to Update Your Payment Method

Go to Account > Manage Subscription.
The Stripe Customer Portal lets you update your card on file.
If a payment fails, you'll receive an email notification with a link to update your payment method.
